As we all know, the big video on online video website is usually divided into many small pieces, even if all of them can be downloaded one by one, they are still not easy to save and manage. Fortunately, most of them are flash video formats or at least can be converted to. Therefore, we can use Andy’s FLV Joiner to merge/join them into a complete video file.

Andy’s FLV Joiner is a tiny (only 60 KB), fast and user-friendly Flash format video file (especially for FLV format) joiner that provides a very simple combing method. It doesn’t need to rethink video coding, and the combined video hasn’t any quality loss. In addition, Andy’s FLV Joiner also supports VBR file format, which can ensure no out-of-step subtitle, sound and frame will appear in the combined video.

// Key Features //

  • Tiny and fast
  • No quality loss
  • Able to handle VFR files without sync problems
  • Corrected timecode
  • Freeware

// Supported Formats //

Tested on Flash video formats below:

  • FLV1
  • H263
  • VP6
  • AVC
  • H264
  • VFR

// Edition Statement //

This is the Andy’s FLV Joiner v0.6 Final portable version.

// Prompts //

  1. Files must be the FLV format. The FLV container may include one of several codecs. Some YouTube HQ clips (AVC/H264) may be MP4 rather than FLV format. Use a program like Avidemux to join MP4 format files.
  2. Try and join similar file types (i.e. same codec, resolution and FPS), otherwise the joined file will revert to the first file’s properties with unpredictable playback results.
