Apophysis is a very popular fractal flame designing and rendering script editor for Windows. It can be used to make fractal light materials or art works composed of fine effects such as flame, smoke, charming line and more.

Apophysis uses the IFS fractal model system, therefore its generated fractal graphics or animations have a very strong artistic effect. And in fact, Apophysis has already a huge number of fans from all over the world. Its status is even more important than the Ultra Fractal in some large fractal relevant websites.

I think the biggest characteristic of Apophysis is that it supports so many plug-in packs, which are all made by its fans everywhere (you can Google them to download). And this just can add different forms of basic variations to the software.

Apophysis is very lightweight, only 1.23 MB, it’s open source and supports free update. BTW, can also get the Apophysis 3D (experimental) and apophysis screensaver from SourceForge.
