bbLean is based on BlackBox, which can fully take over Windows Explorer, known as the best alternative of Explorer.exe, so we can directly replace desktop and Windows Explorer after system starts. bbLean’s most prominent advantage is that it can take up less system resources than the standard Explorer.exe of Windows in the same environment (about 50%).
Because transplanted from Unix X Window, so the use habit of bbLean is a little different from Windows, and needs some time to adapt to it, after that, you will find that in addition to little resource cost, its operating mode is more suitable for daily uses.
If you like this program and want to have bbLean as the default windows manager, you only need to install the shell for Explorer (as shown below) and vice versa, so that every time after the system starts up, it will directly enable the BlackBox, without having to start the Explorer.exe consuming much more resources.
