Cave Story+ (????, D?kutsu Monogatari, Cave Story Plus) is the enhanced version of Cave Story developed by NICALiS Inc. It not only covers all the additional game modes of WiiWare platform, but also allows players to choose graphics and audio styles (original or improved for WiiWare).

Cave Story is called the most fun side-scrolling APRG game in history, from the influence and game time, its status is so high that are comparable with Castlevania and Metroid Prime nowadays on GBA platform.

Essentially, Cave Story integrates the elements of Metroid Prime, Ninja Gaiden, Mega Man, The Legend of Zelda and Castlevania, and mixes them into an entirety of “fascinating, challenging and enough length”.
