Learning jQuery – Fourth Edition was written by the jQuery API website maintainers personally. Since the first edition in 2008, its has been reprinted as many as 14 times, so as to be the endsville classic of jQuery! As the latest upgrade edition of jQuery classic technology series tutorials, this book covers the jQuery 1.10.x and jQuery 2.0.x.

The whole book has 13 chapters and 3 appendixes. The first few chapters explain the jQuery core components, jQuery UI, jQuery Mobile and using jQuery’s powerful expansion capability to develop a custom plug-in in a straightaway way. The subsequent chapters discuss the various features of jQuery and some advanced technologies in a more in-depth.

Due to paying attention to the combination of theory and practice, from the shallower to the deeper, step by step, therefore, Learning jQuery – Fourth Edition is suitable for all levels of the front-end web developers to learn and reference.
