Pepakura Designer (AKA: 纸艺大师) is a very famous paper art designing and editing tool from Japan. With it, we can make unfolded patterns directly from read-made 3D models data, so as to be able to change the passive to active and enjoy paper matrix works made by ourselves.
Pepakura Designer can automatically unfold and edit 3D polygon-mesh models, to achieve creating real paper craft models from digital data. There is no difficulty (only several mouse clicks) throughout the whole process, only need you are a little familiar with the use of 3D software. Then you can produce nice and interesting expanded papercraft which are allowed to be stored in BMP and PDF format. Besides, you can also use the built-in Pepakura Viewer to browse others’ works or share your own papercraft 3D models to others.
