RegFromApp is used to monitor how an application modify your system registry during its installation process, and the result can be saved as a standard “.reg” file format, for later use.

There is a similar software called Regshot – which function is to contrast the registry, it can quickly scan the registry to generate a snapshot, and to get the registry compared after a second scan. But RegFromApp only scan single process, this also means the result it gets would be clearer and more intuitive.
