Snes9x is a great freeware video game emulator for North American Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES)/Japanese Super Famicom (SFC), and it’s the only SNES emulator available for Mac OS X system. And I think it’s also the best one for Windows users.

Snes9x supports most games designed for the SNES and Super Famicom Nintendo game systems, and it allows to adjust the input, sound, video and other settings according to different hardware easily. Furthermore, because it’s so handy and powerful (such as supporting handle input, screenshot, netplay, etc.), Snes9x has become the main SNES/SFC emulator.

BTW, if the default display effect is not ideal, you can go to “Video/Display Configuration…” for further debugging and testing, so that you can get the better video effect you like.
