FrostWire is a free and open-source BitTorrent client (formerly Gnutella client) for Windows, Mac, Linux and Android platforms, written in Java, started by the developers from LimeWire‘s open source community in 2004, as a fork of LimeWire. But starting with version 5, it entirely dropped the support for the Gnutella network, and became a pure BitTorrent client.
