TextDiff is an open-source file and folder comparison tool, compared with the commercial software or shareware, although a little weaker on the functions, yet it has been completely enough to meet the needs of general comparison (including modification).

And that, because TextDiff opens its source codes, in this case, you can completely according to your own request to transform it more powerful as you like.

In short, compared with the commercial BeyondCompare, TextDiff is free and open-source; compared with the open-source WinMerge, it is smaller but enough!
