The Ultra Wide Band (UWB, ultraband) is a new wireless communication technology with great potential for growth that developed in the 1990s, it was listed as one of the ten communication technologies in the future. Compared with traditional cutoff frequency (corner/break frequency) communication systems, it came up with many obvious characteristics (very wide bandwidth, high speed of data transmission, low power consumption, high safety performance, and so on).

Ultra-Wideband Radio Technology brought together the research experience of multiple authors, conducted in-depth and comprehensive introduction of UWB system. Its main characteristics include: building on the premise without complicated mathematical and theoretical derivation, it carried on a clear description to the key technical problems of UWB system, which makes it much easier to understand for beginning readers; on the other hand, for specialized researchers, this book provided both all-sided introduction and rigorous derivation process; in addition to the basic analysis, it also described the applications of UWB and its future development direction.
