Adobe Character Animator CC is an innovative 2D character animation creating software developed by Adobe Systems. It uses camera and microphone to capture people’s facial expressions, facial movements, voices along with the mouth shape when a person is speaking, then realistically synchronizes/matches all these to the static character picture to make it lifelike.

Adobe Character Animator CC allows to use your own drawings to make a 2D character animation in real time. That is to say, you can create a 2D character in Photoshop or Illustrator, then let it vividly presented in Adobe Character Animator CC. On the one hand, it is able to trace our facial expressions & movements in real time. When you smile, the animated character will smile too. On the other hand, it can automatically capture your voice and simulate your mouth movement, so as to easily realize a lip sync.

In addition, Adobe Character Animator CC allows user to start with the built-in templates or create interactive puppets quickly by combining different puppet parts from Photoshop or Illustrator file. And, you are also able to use the mouse and keyboard to operate the motion direction and other body actions of the entire character role – to move its head, arms and legs.
