As we all know, almost every video game console’s emulator on computer is free to use. Whereas due to copyright issues, the emulator’s developer can not provide us with those corresponding BIOS files that play a vital role in the game emulation.

But it’s not a problem that AppNee needs to worry about. In a word, here, we will collect and share any existing BIOS files required by any kinds of game console emulators (including 3DO, Amiga, Atari, ColecoVision, Mixed bios for multiple consoles, Nintendo, Obscure consoles, PCE CD-ROM System, Philips CD-I, PlayStation, PS2, Sega, and more platforms) on the entire Internet. In fact, this post has been belatedly prepared for more than two years.

BTW, this post will keep updating all the time, with the only mission – collecting & sharing all BIOS files for every game console emulator needed by video game lovers. Of course, we also hope to get more help from players (please send your working BIOS files in hand to us for sharing, thanks).

// Prompts //

  • The BIOS files of DEMUL and MAME emulators are universal. For both of them, we can put these BIOS files in the same folder with game ROM (roms).
  • For nullDC emulator, you should put BIOS files under the “data” folder
