Citra (ANA: eMu3Ds) is currently the only still living 3DS emulator for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X (written in C++ and open source) that can can run partial 3DS classic games better. Although supporting all HD 3DS games has a long distance, yet from the official news we are sure this is not far off.

Even though Citra 3DS emulator still has a long way to go, as it turns out it has obtained obvious and significant improvements (at first, it can only be used to run/debug some very simple homemade software). And we believe that we will be able to enjoy a more powerful and perfect Citra with better compatibility, higher resolution and higher frame rate, for example.

Citra is also the first 3DS emulator that AppNee has recommended (because it is the only 3DS simulator can run games correctly now). BTW, as to game ROM for 3DS emulator we’ve released Cave Story 3D as one of the 3 works of Cave Story series.
