While looking for a beat ’em up game development tutorial, AppNee was surprised to discover CLazy Runner Action, this running character action animations asset pack for both Unity and Unreal Engine developed by CLazy Animation, which can be used to develop parkour and action games. On Unity, it’s called Runner Action Animation Pack, while on Unreal Engine its name is CLazy Runner Action Pack.

Runner Action Animation Pack for Unity contains 350+ different situational key animations for creating runner games or action characters, as well as 361+ root movements and 457+ in-place movements. CLazy Runner Action Pack for Unreal Engine contains 400+ different situational key animations for creating runner games or action characters, 385+ root motions and 481+ inplace motions. In addition, it also provides a sample play demo and blueprint created using this animation asset.

// Animation Features //

  • Character is setup with Humanoid configuration and it included 5 finger bones and twist bones of shoulders, arms and legs.
  • All animations are neatly organized in the scene so that you can easily find them part by part.
  • Most of the animations provides both root motion and in-place motion, with the exception of some motions divided by need.
  • The promotional video’s model is not included as an asset in the actual runner package, but a dummy model with exactly the same skeletal structure, naming, and size replaces it.
