Colour Contrast Analyser‘s main purpose is to detect foreground and background colors at the same time to see their matched-degree, make sure if they provide a good color visibility. It’s especially suitable for web and graphic designers.

Colour Contrast Analyser has functionality to establish simulations of different visual conditions such as color blindness. In addition, CCA can also compare that whether the same background and foreground colors’ collocation is reasonable or not under four kinds of font size.

The method of judging “color visibility”, is based on the Contrast Ratio suggested by World Wide Web Consortium (W3C): “if the brightness difference and color difference of two colors are greater than a certain extent, then these two colors are regarded as having the ability to provide a good color visibility.” The brightness difference recommended by W3C should be greater than 125, while the color difference should be greater than 500.
