As for a good third-party image viewer to choose, before, I used to find XnView better than ACDSee, this is true, and i keep my point.But today i just found a better one than XnView – FastStone Image Viewer. If I could evaluate XnView with stars, I will give FastStone Image Viewer 4.5 or 5. Because it has a faster image reading speed than most of the image viewers (including XnView and ACDSee).
FastStone Image Viewer is a free (non-commercial use only) and small image browser, converter and editor, it provides user convenient operation interface, and supports the continuous playing function, which let user can easily browse all pictures in a directory.
Although it is free, yet its function is unequivocal. In addition to looking at pictures, FastStone Image Viewer also provides a simple image editing function, which allows user to cut pictures, add text, watermark to them, and adjust various parameters etc. Moreover, it has the built-in image formats batch conversion, rename and size adjustment functions.
In a word, FastStone Image Viewer can be regarded as a small but complete (even powerful) image viewing application. So it is strongly recommended to be in your Must-Have-Tool list.
