If you are a art-lover who focuses your attention to sketch art with great passion, but your hand-painted skills are not enough to get your favorite pictures painted direct from nature or from a copy…. then i will suggest you try the completely freeware FotoSketcher from France.

FotoSketcher is a small, easy to use and very powerful image processing application, it can help you create art works that are pretty similar to the real pencil sketches, watercolor, oil paintings, pen & ink drawings and cartoons. It will quickly (the whole process just needs a few short seconds) turn digital photos or pictures (supports BMP, JPG, JPEG and PNG file formats) into all familiar hand-drawing styles.

The two pictures before and after processing are respectively displayed on left and right sides of the interface, so as to be convenient for real-time contrast. In addition, you can print the well processed image and send it to your friends, or even get it printed into greeting cards or a T-shirts… BTW, the converted image can only be saved as .JPG or .JPEG format.
