IMosaic is a lightweight and cross-platform photographic mosaic making freeware, designed to generate mosaic art photos based on your own images database.

For people who often surf the Internet must have seen such a picture: hundreds of small pictures pieced together into a larger one, which looks very natural from a distance, and when getting closer you can see many colorful and independent insets. This is what we often say “photo montage”, first invented by an American student, due to the computer performance at that time, it had not a lot of use.

Usually “photo montage” is not accomplished by Photoshop manually, regardless of how superb your level of PS is, this kind of super complex “puzzle” can’t be done by a human. In the magical world of computers, of course, surprises are always appearing constantly, with the help of IMosaic, making so cool “photo montage” by hand has become a very easy thing – just 3 mouse clicks.
