// Installation Notes //

for v2023.4.2:

  1. Install Lumion using this method (time-consuming, requires about 68.1 GB disk space):
    1. Run cmd
    2. Enter the folder where your setup is in
    3. Run one of the following commands to perform a silent installation in the custom location (skip the activation code requirement):
      • Lumion_2023_4_2_Download.exe -s -d “X:\Lumion”
      • Lumion_2023_4_2_Download.exe –silent –silentinstalldir “X:\Lumion”
  2. Copy the online/offline unlock patch to installation folder, run it as administrator, and apply (password: cgpersia-zmco)
  3. For online patch, make sure your hosts file does not contain the following lines (otherwise LiveSync feature will not work); for offline patch, make sure they are there:
    • 127.0.0.1 backup.lumion3d.net
    • 127.0.0.1 license.lumiontech.net
    • 127.0.0.1 lumion-services.lumion.com
    • 127.0.0.1 services.lumion3d.net
  4. Done

*** Using online path, the Internet connection is required (do not block this program with your firewall). Using offline path, Lumion works well both online and offline (you can use firewall to block it or not).

for v11.5, v12.0+:

  1. Download and install Lumion, do not launch program
  2. Copy the unlock patch to installation folder, run it as administrator, and apply (for v12.0, the Mode Password: cgpersia-zmco)
  3. Done

*** If you have any of these lines in your hosts file, delete them, otherwise the program will not work:

  3. Copy the unlock patch to installation folder and run it (with password: tpcrew-group)
  4. Click ‘PATCH‘
  5. Done

*** When you close the program, ‘Releasing license’ will appear, just wait at least 30 seconds, it will close by itself.

for v10.0:

  1. Download and install Lumion
  2. Copy the unlocked files to installation folder
  3. Always run the loader program (Lumion 10.exe) as administrator and click the left button to start program
  4. Done

*** The loader program works by controlling and tricking the original ‘Lumion.exe’ to always run in the Trial Mode.

for v9.5:

  1. Download and install Lumion
  2. Block program with your firewall, or add the following lines to your hosts file:
    • 127.0.0.1 backup.lumion3d.net
    • 127.0.0.1 license.lumiontech.net
  3. Copy the unlock patch to installation folder, and run it (password: tpcrew-group)
  4. Done

*** The service Mylumion.com can not be used.

*** If the patcher does not display correctly, try to change the font size to 100%.

*** When you close Lumion and the ‘Releasing license‘ appears, just wait, then it will close by itself.

for v9.0.2:

  1. Download and install Lumion
  2. Copy the unlocked files to installation folder and overwrite
  3. Done

  2. Download and extract program to run, it’s portable

for v8.0:

  1. Install and launch Lumion
  2. Copy the Lumion code from Lumion’s activation window
  3. Run the ‘Lumion8.0 Pro Serial number reading tool.exe’, and click the bottom right button
  4. Paste the Lumion code to the generator’s corresponding window
  5. Save the text file when the generator asks you to do this
  6. Open the saved text file, and copy everything from the second line (included) to the last line (before “SerialNumber”)
  7. Paste these text back to Lumion’s activation window
  8. Done

*** Make sure to save multiple text files in step 5 for later use, because users reported that this lic tool only works once.

*** You will need to force close the program in order to exit it (via Task Manager)

*** You will always need to paste the code at every start of the software (the benchmark run only once)

*** If you have problems with loading into the DWG mode, just install the DWG Loader plugin

*** Use your firewall (rather than other ways) to block Lumion from connecting to Internet (because the as you’ll need Lumion to stay this way for ever with this method)

for v6.5.1:

  1. Download and install Lumion
  2. Do not run it, or exit it completely
  3. Open your hosts file (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc) and add the following lines (or block Lumion through your firewall):
    • 127.0.0.1 backup.lumion3d.net
    • 127.0.0.1 license.lumion3d.net
  4. Copy the unlock patch to installation directory
  5. Run it and click ‘Patch’
  6. Done!

*** This patch works on Win 7/8.1/10 64bits only.

*** When you close the program, if the ‘Releasing license’ appears, just wait at least 30 seconds, then it will close by itself.

for v6.0:

  1. Download and install Lumion 6.0 setup file
  2. Copy the following 3 unlocked DLL files to “C:\Program Files\Lumion 6.0\Channels\” and overwrite:
    • 6E6FB247-4627-4FBE-8973-48344F23881E.dll
    • A550BB21-BE5C-4675-B53E-3FA246F76538.dll
    • B028B538-D554-434B-88CE-AA79A717C396.dll
  3. That’s all!

for v5.0:

  1. Download Lumion (using the torrent) and install, if you have installed it already, just download the crack patch and go on
  2. After installation, do not run it now!
  3. Enter C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc, open the file “HOSTS” with Notepad, and add the following 2 lines and save:
    • 127.0.0.1 localhost
    • 127.0.0.1 lm.licenses.adobe.com
  4. Run the crack patch as administrator and click “PATCH“
  5. Locate the license file under your installation directory (default: C:\Program Files\Lumion 5.0\Channels\) to finish patching
  6. All done, enjoy!

for v4.5.1:

  1. Add the following lines to your hosts file (located in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\)
    • 127.0.0.1 backup.lumion3d.net
    • 127.0.0.1 license.lumion3d.net
  2. Install Lumion 4.5.1 (run Lumion_4_5_1_LUM4PRO_O.exe)
  3. Copy the file “A550BB21-BE5C-4675-B53E-3FA246F76538.dll” to “C:\Program Files\Lumion 4.5.1\Channels\“
  4. Done, enjoy!
