Nuke (AKA: The Foundry NUKE, NukeX, Nuke Studio) is a film/TV compositing software based on digital nodes, developed by The Foundry from United Kingdom. As of writing this post, it has been used for the production of nearly 100 films, and hundreds of commercials and music televisions. For example, the famous film works that Nuke participated in the production of include: The Day After Tomorrow, i, Робот (Enthiran), xXx, Titanic, T2, Apollo 13, True Lies, X-Men, Кинг Конг (King Kong), etc.

Nuke has unmatched flexibility, customizability and interoperability. It can quickly create 3D films, and supports in-depth three-dimensional composition. In addition, it also comes with advanced techniques that can seamlessly blend the final visual effects with the rest of the film/television content, no matter what style the applying visual effect is or how complex it is. At the same time, Nuke provides flexible, effective, saving and full-featured methods for the artists to create photographic images with high quality, without any special hardware platform required.

As a multi-functional video post-processing and post-production software, Nuke is a must-have video editing tool for some professional film and television editors, which owns more than 10 years of development experience, and won the Academy Awards (AKA: Oscars). In fact, in the current digital age, more and more movies and even blockbusters are totally or mostly using the digital compositing software such like Nuke to complete all their key production processes.
