PDFCreator is a free, open-source PDF printing, output application (virtual printer), any program who supports the Windows printing function can use it to create PDF and many other formats.

With PDFCreator, you can create PDF document, Postscript file, Encapsulated Postscript file; it can also generate PNG, BMP, JPEG, PCX, TIFF graphical file formats. Besides, its powerful merging function allows you to convert multiple independent documents into one PDF file. So, as a free solution for document conversion and management, PDFCreator is a quite good choice.

After PDFCreator installed, the system will generate a virtual printer, with which you can convert/output any printable files to a PDF anywhere.

Tokens	PDFCreator supports tokens in many places. These tokens are placeholders for certain values, e.g. today’s date, your user name or a counter that increases with every time you print a document.
Merge and rearrange	Instead of converting your PDFs one by one, you can also collect multiple documents, rearrange their order and merge them. You will then receive a PDF that contains all your documents in a single file.

for v2.0.1, v3.3.0 Plus/Business/Server/Terminal Server Edition:

1. Run setup, do not update, and do not click ‘Next‘
2. Run the unlock patch, and click ‘Patch‘
3. Close patch, and click ‘Next‘ (Be careful: the Setup will automatically restart your windows without any confirmation after installation. So, you’d better save and exit all other programs.)
4. After the system restart, double click the reg key file to import license info
5. Copy the unlocked file to installation folder and overwrite (for Terminal Server Edition: you must stop the “PDFCreator Licensing Service” first)
6. Done
