Smart XML Select (XML Select for short) is a simple and practical free utility primarily used for viewing and editing XML files. Although it has been discontinued and almost disappears from the Internet, in AppNee’s opinion, its application value for program developers still exists. Therefore, we insist on recommending and sharing it to those who need it from time to time.

In terms of manipulating XML files, Smart XML Select shows the structure as a Tree View, supports copying a item to the clipboard, allows user to easily modify the parameter values of XML page or move them to a different position, supports the real-time preview feature (by providing a play option to watch values changing in real time), and allows to use filters to show filtered items only. In summary, it can be regarded as one of the best auxiliary means for XML programmers or other software developers.
