Nightmare Sphere (AKA: ナイトメアスフィア) is a free Castlevania-like and metroidvania-style doujin, indie game developed by 暁音♪ (AKA: n_sphere2, MickmanX, who used to be an art designer at Capcom) from Japan in 2009, using GameMaker Studio. It incorporates elements from classic 2D action video games like Metroid, Castlevania, Mega Man, and includes some degree of adult content.

Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse is the third 8-bit game work in the Castlevania series for the Nintendo Entertainment System console, was published by Konami in 1989. This game took Nintendo’s game development level at that time to the extreme, its gameplay is very similar to that of the first generation, but has vastly improved graphics and music. Moreover, it also introduced the concept of companions and sub-plots for the first time, and has 15 levels. So, it was definitely a masterpiece that could make players forget to eat and sleep at that time!
