Firefox has been released as multiple editions in order to meet the needs of different users. Thereinto, the ESR (Extended Support Release) edition is specially built for organizations, companies that are unable or unwilling to upgrade frequently. It has a 42-week upgrade cycle, compared with about 6 weeks for other editions.
