As of writing this post (at least 5 months ago), AppNee is officially ready to move to a VPS hosting. But because the server administrator was accustomed to use the popular, simple and friendly inbuilt cPanel web hosting control panel (WHCP) on a shared hosting, at the very start, operating a VPS under the command line (via Linux Terminal) is confusing, very ungainly and inefficient. Fortunately, we eventually realized that after buying a new VPS, AppNee must start to install and use an open-source, free web hosting control panel to replace the cPanel, with which we can easily set the server and manage websites inside as before – in a visual and efficient method.

Arduino IDE – Makes it easy to write and upload code to Arduino board

Arduino consists of two parts: hardware (various models of Arduino boards) and software (Arduino IDE). The hardware part is an Arduino PCB that can be used to connect circuits; the software part is the open-source and cross-platform Arduino IDE (written in Java, based on Processing programming language and other open-source software) – your programming environment in computer that can be used with any Arduino boards. All you have to do is write the code in Arduino IDE, and upload it to the Arduino development board, then the program will tell Arduino PCB what to do and how to do.

x64dbg – An open-source x64/x32 debugger for Windows

With the continuous development of processor technology, the 64-bit operating system came out. Later on, the 64-bit applications began to spread widely too. In the field of reverse engineering (i.e.: software cracking), the classic and traditional OllyDbg can only perform reverse analysis on 32-bit applications. At this time, you need to know there is another debugging software that specially designed for analyzing both 32-bit and 64-bit programs – x64dbg.

wufuc – Patch for unblocking Windows 7 and 8.1 Updates limitation on newer CPUs

If the CPU model of your computer is relatively new (especially Intel Core i7 and higher), and because you have lost patience with the slick Windows 10 and have to change back to use the older versions of Windows 7, 8, 8.1, even Windows XP, then you will probably receive the following error message while trying to scan or download updates through Windows Update:

Unsupported hardware

Your PC uses a processor that is designed for the latest version of Windows. Because the processor is not supported together with the Windows version that you are currently using, your system will miss the important security updates. Please select the “Learn More” link to address this situation.

MagicaVoxel – 8-bit voxel art editor and interactive path tracing renderer

Voxel (short for voluempixel) refers to the smallest unit of the world that is made up of objects rendered in three dimensions, which can be cube, sphere, cylinder and many other basic geometries, as well as the iteration forms of complex geometry. When it comes to voxel games, the representative work is of course the well-known sandbox game Minecraft, in which the entire game world was created using voxels.

MOFO Linux – A Linux distro dedicated to defeat state censorship & surveillance

MOFO Linux was originally designed as one portable and bootable Linux distro (developed on the basis of Ubuntu, can be installed on HDD, USB flash drive, SD card or burned into Live DVD/USB using the included Startup Disk Creator, UNetbootin, or “DD copy method”) that can be used on public computers for protecting user privacy. Gradually, it developed into one Linux operating system that emphasizes multimedia, VPN, proxy, file encryption, and disk wiping features.
