ToDoList is a very excellent and personalized open-source, free task management application, with a lot of details considered. Its tree structure can easily show all tasks, and allows to orderly manage your daily work and calendar arrangement.
In addition, ToDoList supports task schedule management, the task difference by color, the task priority and so on, which are helpful to finish the tasks efficiently. The remarkable thing is that most functions can be chosen whether to open or not, which allows you to DIY a to-do-list conform to your own use habits. No matter simply list the tasks, or there are still other sorts of requirements for task management, ToDoList will satisfy your needs.
After a taste of it, you will find that ToDoList is a lot more powerful than the Google Calendar and the TODO of EssentialPIM, and it is easier to use than the Microsoft Project.
