UltraCompare is an excellent file content comparison tool developed by IDM Computer Solutions (the developer of the famous general-purpose text editor UltraEdit). It is able to compare plain text files, office documents, folders and binary files (such as EXE, DLL), and perform mergence, synchronization, and so on operations to files/folders in comparison.
You can use UltraCompare to compare the differences between two text files, to compare the differences between two executable files in binary mode, to compare the differences of file/structure between two local/remote folders along with their subfolders, and to compare compressed archives as well as files from FTP/SFTP. It supports undo operation, favorites, drag & drop operation, filter setting, integration of different points between documents, and can automatically work together with UltraEdit or UEStudio.
