Universal Viewer (formerly called ATViewer) is a general-purpose file viewer that supports a wide range of file formats, developed by UVViewSoft from Russia. With its help, you can easily view various common file types without having to download a lot of corresponding software. This not only saves a lot of disk space, but also makes viewing files simpler and more efficient.
Universal Viewer supports direct viewing of various multimedia files (such as images, audios, videos), office files (such as RTF, PDF, Word, Excel), various encoded web files and plain text files, and supports for using plug-ins to support more file types. In addition, it allows you to browse any unknown file type as a hexadecimal, text, or binary format, and can be integrated into Windows Explorer’s context menu, so that users can easily call this application from anywhere in the File Explorer.
In short, Universal Viewer is one of the best ways to quickly view various files. Although it supports all the plugins that the popular and powerful file management software Total Commander can run, it only supports the browsing function and does not provide features like editing, compression, FTP, batch renaming, disk space management, splitting, merging, conversion, etc. BTW, Universal Viewer supports up to 4G file size, its performance is much better than similar file browsers, and is more friendly for low configuration of computers.
