WebDrive is a powerful, convenient and practical Windows file transfer tool. It has a user-friendly and easy-to-use UI, can smoothly transfer and edit files on multiple remote servers. It works by mapping remote servers supporting file transfer protocols such like WebDAV/FTP/SFTP as local network drives utilizing its directories list caching capability, thus integrating them into Windows Explorer/File Manager, and allowing you to easily and quickly manipulate remote files as quickly as you would on a local disk.

WebDrive supports caching mode, provides both single-user and multi-user modes, and supports intermittent transmission of files; comes with file backup function and fast compression, transfer speed, and so on. In addition, it allows directory lists to be stored in a cached folder for faster directory & file access. Of course, you can also store the recently retrieved file information in an in-memory cache to avoid server or cache lookups. In short, WebDrive operates in a variety of ways.

In detail, WebDrive supports data transfer by drag and drop files in Windows Explorer; is able to execute EXE files including video and audio files; can run as a system service when Windows starts; can mount drive automatically on system start; supports FTP, FTPS, SFTP, and WebDAV protocols, as well as many other proprietary or vendor-specific protocols; provides native support for Windows, Mac, Android and iOS operating systems (the program was originally Windows-only); supports file locking function, thus preventing users from accidentally overwriting other users’ changes, and more.

  1. Download the latest version of WebDrive from official site
  2. Disable your Internet connection temporarily
  3. Add the following lines to your hosts file:

    • 127.0.0.1 172.217.132.104
  4. Install program, and enter “Settings“
  5. Click ‘Activate License‘, input the registration code above, then click ‘Activate License‘
  6. Done

for v201x:

  1. Download and install the latest version of WebDrive from official site
  2. Add the following lines to your hosts file:
    • 127.0.0.1 activate.southrivertech.com
    • 127.0.0.1 216.36.238.134
    • 127.0.0.1 23.96.124.25
  3. Run program, and click “Help/Info“
  4. Click ‘Activate License‘, then click ‘Activate License‘
  5. Use the universal registration code above to activate program (ignore the error)
