Lately, when I was using the Windows 7 in a virtual machine, I recalled one of Windows 7 classics – sound scheme. And then I thought, it was time to publish this sound schemes collection post for all versions of Microsoft Windows OS. I hereby dedicate this post to those guys who like to collect any official, untouched classic resources.
These well-known, genuine and universal sounds can be applied to any version of Windows or some other OS. Of which, the sound schemes from Windows 98 are pretty rich for almost every computer operation event. Most importantly, these amazing sounds still sound great on modern versions of Windows. In this post, AppNee provides all these classic sound schemes for you, downloadable separately.
All these sound schemes were directly extracted from the Microsoft official Windows ISO image files – just copied the entire folder containing the sound schemes. They all lie in C volume, but the exact location may not be the same one for all Windows.
