Folder Merger uses Windows’ built-in xcopy command – creating a temporary batch file “temp.bat” and then runs it. It comes in handy if you need to collect files from different directories into one place, instead of having to manually cut/paste files one by one between tons of folders. For example, when you need to extract all the music and lyric files from different folders with subfolders to one place for merging.
You have the option to narrow down the list of items to be copied by filtering either by name or file extension. You can also use a value field to indicate the target levels and rename or enumerate files with duplicate names, ensuring that no files are lost during the process. The copying process is quite fast, and a notification will appear once it is completed. - Folder Merger neither supports non-English character paths nor tool long paths. So it is advisable to make do with short ones (for example, copy the folders from which you will merge files, and the folder to be merged to the root of the disk, and preferably with a short name).
