People who have used Symbian mobile OS based smartphones are likely to have used some photo sticker applications for incoming/outgoing call. There is one fact – I still don’t have a smartphone as of writing this post. Even so, I’m sure that an application with this feature will bring more or less freshness and a better experience to the boring default calling application on Android OS.

Full Screen Caller ID is a cool, interesting and practical Android application that uses a full screen to display the caller and SMS sender’s avatars (which can be imported from local or network), developed by Christophe Nys from France. It makes our contacts list more personalized and vivid, and we can say goodbye to the unchanging, monotonous calling interface that comes with Android OS.

Full Screen Caller ID is essentially an alternative to the default calling UI of Android system, and primarily used to beautify the display of contacts’ avatar. With its help, you can set up a full-screen photo sticker and multiple notification methods for incoming calls, outgoing calls, text messages, emails, or even missed calls on your smartphone. In addition, it also supports themes switching, answering modes, device wake-up modes, and text-to-speech notification reading function (i.e.: it directly reads out the phone number and text message content when you have an incoming call or SMS).
