FirstCutTimelapse (AKA: First Cut Timelapse, FCT for short) may be the fastest and simplest method to create a timelapse video from a collection of images. With its help, beginners don’t need to invest in any costly video editing software.

For professionals, FirstCutTimelapse provides an easy way to preview your latest projects. Simply run program once to configure your video settings, then drag and drop your image folders onto the the program icon to generate videos. You can also choose to eliminate flicker during the process.

In detail, FirstCutTimelapse comes with features like create videos without needing an expensive video editor; supports common video aspect ratios and sizes up to 4K; compatible with all major image formats (jpg, bmp, png, etc.); works with most RAW formats (cr2, nef, arw, and more, and you might need to download and install the RAW codec that corresponds to your camera’s image format).
