Kon-Boot (AKA: kon boot or konboot) is a powerful, professional, and popular login password bypassing rather than removing tool for Windows and Mac platforms, developed by thelead82 (LEAD82) from Poland. It enables you to access any computer even without knowing the account and password, and supports almost all versions of Windows and Mac. Kon-Boot works by temporarily modifying the system kernel boot processing at system startup (boot phase) to invalidate the code that verifies user credentials, so as to achieve the purpose of skipping the SAM check and logging in directly to the system – allowing you to enter any character on the login screen to log in. It does not reset or alter the user’s original login password, nor does it modify the Windows system files, but invalidates the password authentication mechanism at the time of login, and instead allows to enter any password to log in. Better yet, any modifications made are reversed upon system restart, restoring the previous state. This makes Kon-Boot much safer to use.
