Most modern routers allow you to backup/export its full configuration, and restore them from this file when you need. The router configuration file (like TP-LINK‘s config.bin, it varies according to the brand and model of router) usually contains info including your ISP username/password, router’s login password, wireless network password, etc. RouterPassView enables us to get a sweeping view of all this.
RouterPassView is definitely not a router password cracking software. That means if want it to work for you, you must backup/export the router configuration file from the admin interface of router in advance, otherwise, it can do nothing! Anyway, when you lost or forgot any password related to a router yet have its configuration file in hands, then all those passwords can be recovered with ease. In other words, you do not have to use the reset button on router and then reconfigure various parameters painfully.
RouterPassView supports almost all the major brands of routers around the world, such as TP-Link, NETGEAR, D-Link, ASUS, Linksys, Huawei, etc.
