Simply Good Pictures is a friendly and intuitive image optimizing and repairing program for Windows, developed by Engelmann Software from Germany. It automatically optimizes and restores images, removing artifacts and reducing noise, which leads to improved picture quality.
While the algorithms and mathematical procedures used for reconstructing and optimizing photos are the same as those in Photomizer, Simply Good Pictures offers fewer image enhancements compared to the latter. It does not support batch mode, meaning you can only optimize one picture at a time. However, it compensates for this by providing easy manipulation and reliable results.
Additionally, Simply Good Pictures allows user to remove artifacts and image noise, automatically sets the dynamic range, recognizes faces in photos, corrects exposure issues, adjusts colors, reduces shadows, and enhances overall image brightness. This means that it takes care of most of the improvements, requiring minimal effort from the user.
