In order to protect the data security, we have to use some encryption softwares, but in so many such programs, of all, the best one has to be TrueCrypt who satisfies comprehensive functions, strong encryption ability and easy to use these three excellent conditions at the same time!

TrueCrypt, the only free and open-source on-the-fly (real-time) virtual dynamic encryption application at the moment, it need not to generate any files on the hard drive to create a encrypted virtual disk. User can visit this encrypted disk just as other normal ones, but all the files in this virtual disk will be automatically encrypted (the encryption and decryption processes are real-time), we need a password to access.

TrueCrypt offers a variety of encryption algorithms, including: AES-256, Blowfish (448-bit key), CAST5, Serpent, Triple DES, and Twofish.

// Working Principle //

I can sum up TrueCrypt working principle in a word: to create a virtual encrypted disk in a file, the encrypted object can be a file, a partition (including the system partition) or the whole storage device (including USB etc.). This is its convenient point – which makes the whole encryption process is quite simple.
