BarCode Reader is a fast and reliable universal barcode reading program. It enables users to read any barcode information directly from a camera, images in JPEG, PNG, TIFF, GIF format, as well as PDF documents. Its user interface is simple and intuitive, is easy to use, and supports more than 50 barcode types.
BarCode Reader supports the reading of various types of barcodes. They’re basically linear bar codes: Code 128, Code 39, EAN 13, EAN 8, Interleaved 2 of 5, ITF-14, UPCA, UPCE, Codabar, GS1 Databar, GS1 128, PostNet, etc.; and two-dimensional bar codes: PDF417, Datamatrix, QR Code, Aztec, MaxiCode, MicroPDF, CodaBlock F, Code 16K, etc.
BarCode Reader provides user with a shortcut to quickly scan the barcodes on a computer. In particular, in addition to being able to check whether a JPG, GIF, TIFF or PNG format of image has any readable bar codes, it also allows to use a webcam to capture the bar code of product, and supports direct obtaining bar codes from scanners and other image devices using the WIA (Windows Image Acquisition) technology.
