CACANi (short for Computer Assisted Cel Animation) is a professional and easy to use 2D animation software from Singapore. It is based on the DBBS (Disk and Ball B-Spline curve) core technology, has a unique vector drawing system, supports automatic line trimming, automatic mid-cut, automatic color filling, provides smooth mode, curve drawing tools, resolution independent canvas, and more.
As we all know, intermediate frame production is the most time-consuming and laborious part in the 2D animation production process. As an automatic mid-cut software specially made for 2D animation designers and beginners, CACANi can automatically generate vectorized intermediate frames of any number and precision and achieve automatic coloring, thereby greatly reducing the manpower, financial resources and time spent on animation production, and effectively improve the quality and efficiency of animation production at the same time.
It used to take animators hours to paint and color intermediate frames entirely by hand. Now CACAni can take over these tedious and time-consuming tasks, automatically generate intermediate frames, and automatically colorize, so that completing the same work only takes a few seconds. As a result, animators will be freed from intermediate frames, coloring, etc., so that they can devote more energy to other more creative creations.
In the current 2D animation software market, there is no software that can automatically generate intermediate frames with keyframes provided (especially when there are multiple characters in a shot).
