eMule used to be the largest and most trusted free P2P file sharing client developed by Hendrik Breitkreuz from Germany. It was started in 2002 as an alternative of eDonkey2000 (AKA: eD2k) based on eDonkey Network, retained all advantages of eDonkey, added new functions and more friendly UI.
The original eMule is completely free and open-source, thus it derived a lot of more popular modified versions with more features and improvements, i.e.: eMule MoDs (such as eMule MorphXT, eMule Plus, DreaMule). And eMuleTorrent is one of them based on eMule’s outstanding features, and comes with supports of Torrent file downloading and Mac OS X platform. That’s to say, we can now continue to share any types of file resources with world’s Internet users with eMuleTorrent, so as to fully enjoy the pleasure of free file sharing.
