FBReader is a very powerful, all-in-one eBook reader and manager for PC and mobile platforms, developed by Nikolay Pultsin from Russia in 2005, using C++ and Java. It not only can be used to read text-based novels, but also supports reading comics, office documents, etc. In short, it is a very good choice whether for study, entertainment or office.

FBReader opens and browses eBooks very fast, is customizable and extensible, allows the use of external fonts and custom backgrounds, supports smart word break mode and fast translation in multiple languages, offers multiple page turning styles, has a wide range of built-in web library catalogs, and can add smart bookmarks to mark reading locations with one click. In addition, it integrates with external dictionaries (Dictan, ColorDict, Fora Dictionary, Free Dictionary, LEO Dictionary, etc.) to enable translation at any time. And it can synchronize your library, bookmarks, and reading locations.

FBReader supports almost all eBook formats in the market.
