Internet Download Accelerator (IDA for short, AKA: Download Master) is a classic Internet resources general downloading tool for Windows, which is not inferior to the most popular Internet Download Manager (IDM). It’s developed by WestByte Software from Ukraine (written in Delphi in 2002), provides both free and registered two editions, supports multiple languages, and is released as setup and portable versions at the same time.
Internet Download Accelerator comes with inbuilt FTP explorer, perfect downloaded files management and search functions, and supports HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, FTPS protocols, dynamic multi-threaded download, resuming from interrupted download, scheduled download, automatic shutdown after finishing download, writing into log file when the file download is complete, clipboard monitoring, browser integration, sites management, free control to the download speed, IDA Bar, and so on.
In contrast to Internet Download Manager, both of them started at the end of last century/beginning of this century, and have remarkably similar, clean user interface and powerful features, even their release numbers are pretty close too. In the same way, IDA also works perfectly with all major web browsers. In summary, Internet Download Accelerator is able to easily and quickly download various online resources (especially for video, music, picture, etc.).
