NetMet (full name: MiTeC Network Meter) is a tiny and portable real-time monitor for the upload and download transfer & speed of various network connections (such as ADSL, modem, LAN, and WLAN), free to use for both private and commercial users. In its simple user interface, you can monitor the network traffic of one or more LAN and WAN simultaneously and intuitively.

The time you start NetMet, it scans for all available network interfaces or adapters installed in your Windows system, then starts immediately monitoring the incoming and outgoing network traffic and provides simple but enough detailed statistics info for each active network interface in real time – using simple view and graphic display with time history.

There are so many similar software everywhere, and some of them are even more outstanding. To be honest, I was a little hesitant when I was releasing NetMet. But given that AppNee is likely to release Michal Mutl‘s many other excellent free applications, so we did give NetMet a chance. In fact, AppNee mainly wants to put more people into its official website so as to discover more useful apps by yourself, as AppNee does not have enough time and energy to release them one by one.
