Each RGB device has its own style and comes with its own dedicated control software, but they have too many drawbacks: most are Windows-only, support only their own products, are difficult to use with other RGB devices (prone to conflicts), some even require registering for an online account, need to install bloatware, take up a lot of system resources, and come with some other problems. especially, it would be a pain to synchronize your various RGB lighting settings to your liking.

OpenRGB is a free and open-source RGB device lighting control software for Windows, Mac and Linux platforms. It allows users to easily control various RGB devices on the computer from a single application on multiple platforms according to their needs, thus greatly improving the ecosystem of RGB lighting. It can control the RGB lighting on all your RGB-enabled devices, and doesn’t depend on any manufacturer software.

OpenRGB allows users to customize their RGB lighting configurations, allows various colors and lighting effects to be freely selected and matched, can view RGB device information, and supports custom saved profiles. It is perfectly compatible with various brands of RGB devices on the market (such as ASUS, ASRock, Corsair, G.Skill, Gigabyte, HyperX, MSI, Razer, ThermalTake, etc.), including graphics cards, cooling fans, monitors, keyboards, mice, speakers, and other peripherals or components that support RGB lighting. In short, OpenRGB can completely replace the proprietary software of almost all RGB device manufacturers.
