save2pc is a compact, practical and universal online video downloading tool. It was originally called YouTube Downloader. As the former name suggests – it was specially designed to download YouTube videos only at that time. Nowadays, it has supported downloading videos from dozens of internationally renowned streaming video websites, including some for adults.
The user interface for save2pc is designed to be very simple and user friendly, with no parameter settings (except for an HTTP Proxy option). You simply need to copy the URL of some page playing video, then save2pc will automatically fetch the video address from clipboard to its Link bar. When you click on “Get Video”, the download begins. The downloaded video can be saved in AVI, MPEG or FLV format.
save2pc allows you to choose your preferred video format, supports converting videos to audio files, provides video previews and other information, and supports up to 5 simultaneous video downloads. Unfortunately, it only supports HTTP proxy, not the most popular SOCK5 proxy. That means if some video sites are blocked in your country, it will be very difficult to get this software to download web videos through a proxy.
