Solarius PV is a dedicated application designed for creating photovoltaic solar grids that can function as the primary energy source for homes and other structures, developed by ACCA software from Italy. It claims to be a complete, easy to use and professional software solution for photovoltaic systems design.

You’ll be pleased to discover that Solarius PV is capable of determining the appropriate size and positioning of solar panels, whether they are installed on rooftops or on the ground. Additionally, it allows you to import DFX, CAD, or DWG files of your building design, then it will automatically resize and position the panels based on the roof type, surface, shape, or exposure.

It’s worth noting that Solarius PV enables you to evaluate the overall efficiency of the photovoltaic system by looking at both detailed hourly production rates and annual outputs. This information enables you to determine the project’s profitability and provide your clients with an estimate of the payback period for the entire PV system.

Additionally, Solarius PV allows you to conduct a shading analysis of panels, identifying the potential obstacles (such as trees, buildings, or hills) from a landscape photograph of the site. You can visualize the shadows cast by nearby objects across different time frames – hourly, monthly, and yearly.

Another valuable feature of Solarius PV is the ability to generate documents, including technical reports that outline design alternatives and electrical compatibility assessments. Besides, it can also produce economic reports and technical drawings in PDF format.

In short, if you are looking to contribute to environmental sustainability and replace traditional energy sources with green photovoltaic solar grids, Solarius PV can assist you in creating schematics, documents, certificates, and calculating the financial savings from this transition. It has already been used for thousands of different PV installations all over the world.

// Key Features //

  • 3D modeling of parametric PV system objects, even starting from DXF or DWG CAD drawings or BIM models
  • Solar irradiance data acquired directly from Meteonorm or PVGIS climatic databases
  • Calculation of photovoltaic shading directly from a photo
  • Activate, size and configure the storage system by defining the battery type and energy metering systems
  • Wiring diagrams of the photovoltaic system (switch panels, cables, protection devices) generated automatically
  • Financial analysis tools (business plan) of the photovoltaic system
