for v5.x.x+ on Windows:

1. Uninstall previously installed versions of Studio One
2. Download and install Studio One
3. (this step depends) Copy the unlocked file to installation folder and overwrite
4. Launch program, close the “PreSonus Login” window, and click “Activate Offline“
5. Run keygen (on Windows), and copy the “Activation Code” from “Studio One Activation” window to keygen’s “Machine ID” field
6. Click ‘GENERATE‘ button, and save all license files in a new folder on desktop
7. At “Studio One Activation” window, click ‘Select License File…‘, and open the “studioapp*.pro.license” file
8. Done

*** If you want to authorize PreSonusHub, copy “presonushub.license” to the following path:

• %PROGRAMDATA%\PreSonus\PreSonus Hub\

*** Generated licenses are linked to the license of main application.
If you want to activate additional contents, you need to generate & reauthorize all. You can reauthorize from the StudioOne menu items.

uninstall all and remove the following two folders:

5. Launch program, close the “PreSonus Login” window, and click “Activate Offline“
6. Run keygen (on Windows), copy the “Activation Code” from “Studio One Activation” window to keygen’s “Machine ID” field

6. Copy the “Activation Code” to unlock patch’s “Machine ID” field
7. Generate the license files and import the corresponding one in offline activation window
8. Done
