It is free and open-source, packed with great features, and supports out-of-the-box most Linux desktop environments. As an excellent desktop wallpaper management tool, Variety can use local images or automatically download wallpapers from many online sources, and automatically change wallpapers at preset intervals, giving you a new visual experience every time you turn on your computer. It supports multiple popular online galleries (such as Unsplash, WallpaperAccess, Pexels, Flickr, Wallhaven, Bing, Reddit), allowing users to freely choose their favorite gallery to download wallpapers. You can also filter Variety based on wallpaper type, resolution, color, and more to better suit your tastes.
Variety provides easy ways to separate the great images from the junk, can also display wise and funny quotations or a nice digital clock on the desktop.
