CuteFTP is one of the small and powerful classic FTP tools, has friendly user interface and stable transfer speed, once known as the three best FTP clients together with LeapFTP and FlashFXP. It was originally developed by Alex Kunadze from Russia in 1996 (distributed, supported and later acquired by GlobalSCAPE).
